Modem QSTART

For: all AUTOTERM heaters

Modem QSTART is a Plug & Play device with the ability to use Autoterm Control application on smartphone (available at Google Play and AppStore) to control any AUTOTERM air heater and liquid heaters. 

Application "Autoterm Control" together with modem QSTART will let you to operate and oversee your Autoterm heater via GSM / LTE network.

Main advantages of "Autoterm Control" application:

• Remote Start/Stop of heater
• Start heater with pre-set working duration
• Current status check
• Temperature check
• Operation settings

* Modem QSTART uses micro sim card slot

Antenna wiring length - 90cm
Modem 3-way cable length - 5x5x5cm

To increase wiring length from modem QSTART till control panel a 2.6 meter extension wiring for control panels (assy.4269) can be used.

The wiring length from the control panel to the modem must not exceed 10 meters.

** Please note, For Modem QSTART to be connected to AUTOTERM Air series heater a 1.8 meter control panel wire (assy.2067) must be used.

The wiring length from the heater to modem must not exceed 2 meters.

*** Please note, Modem QSTART will not work if heater is equipped with control panel PU-22.

For modem QSTART to work, control panel of the heater must be changed to Simple Control, OLED Control, or Comfort Control.

Modem Qstart is suitable following AUTOTERM air heaters:

• AUTOTERM Air 2D if connected to Simlpe Control / OLED Control / Comfort Control control panel 
• AUTOTERM Air 4D if connected to Simlpe Control / OLED Control/ Comfort Control control panel 
• AUTOTERM Air 8D if connected to Simlpe Control / OLED Control/ Comfort Control control panel 
• AUTOTERM Air 9D if connected to Simlpe Control / OLED Control / Comfort Control control panel 

Modem Qstart is suitable following AUTOTERM liquid heaters:

• AUTOTERM Flow 5 (Diesel/Petrol) with serial numbers that start with "E...." if connected to OLED Control or Comfort Control control panel.
• AUTOTERM Flow 14D if connected to OLED Control or Comfort Control control panel.
